About Us
Founded in 1982, Trinity Theatre is a registered charitable organization with decades of accumulated knowledge and expertise creating innovative programs, tools, and resources for community-building in schools, neighbourhoods, and workplaces.
Trinity began as a traditional theatre company, but throughout the years, we have refined the essential dynamics of theatre, and applied them to creating peer leadership, youth engagement in community development, and all kinds of public meetings, workshops and forums. All of our work is intergenerational.
Over the years, Trinity has received funding support for our youth engagement, community development programs from Employment and Social Development Canada, in particular, Canada Service Corps and Canada Summer Jobs, Canadian Heritage, Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration, Justice Canada Youth Justice Fund, Health Canada Drug Strategy Community Initiatives Fund, National Crime Prevention Strategy, various Foundations, the Toronto District School Board, Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board, and many other school boards across Canada.
Mission
To design and deliver progressive self-development programs which enable connection between individuals and communities.
Vision
Our Vision at Trinity is to make every Canadian skilled in learning, leading and serving in their communities.
